Former head of Wells Fargo Advisors, David Kowach, is preparing to unveil a new firm called &Partners.
A presentation obtained by InvestmentNews reveals the firm's intention to hire 100 "top performing Advisor Partner teams." &Partners reportedly is enticing financial advisors with attractive incentives as they navigate a landscape with increased work and payment choices.
&Partners will feature three founding managing partners: Kowach, John Alexander, a former senior executive at Wells Fargo Advisors, and Kristi Mitchem, who served as the CEO and head of Wells Fargo Asset Management until 2019. Additionally, the presentation reveals 13 other founding partners, the majority of whom have substantial work and management backgrounds at Wells Fargo.
The unconventional use of the ampersand symbol in the new firm's name, &Partners, has garnered attention from wealth management executives. However, the firm views the name as an engaging feature. The presentation emphasizes that the name does not revolve around an individual, but rather signifies a connection to the most important entities: "You & Your Team."
