Nine out of 13 wealth management firms that ranked in J.D. Power's annual advisor satisfaction study received lower scores than they received last year. Despite that fact, however, the top performers remain the same.
First, Edward Jones keeps its foothold among employee advisors, ranking highest in overall satisfaction. Second, Stifel beat Raymond James for second place, while Raymond James ranked third.
In the independent advisor category, Commonwealth ranked highest in satisfaction. Commonwealth also achieved the highest score in all reported key drivers of advisor satisfaction.
