Livability.com and Applied Geographic Solutions collaborated to produce their 10th annual list of the 100 best small and mid-sized cities in the United States. Data was collected from over 2,000 cities with populations ranging from 75,000 to 500,000, utilizing federal and private sources. The rankings are based on approximately 100 data points across eight categories: economy, housing and cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education, and health.
