Stifel CEO Aims to Reach $1 trillion in Customer Assets

Ron Kruszewski, Stifel's CEO, has set an ambitious goal of reaching $1 trillion in customer assets under management for Stifel's wealth division. Kruszewski told analysts that the company would achieve this goal by organically growing with their existing clients, gaining new clients, and recruiting.

Overall, Stifel's Global Wealth business generated a record $674 million in revenue in the quarter, up 17 percent year-over-year. According to AdvisorHub, "aggressive recruiting" drove gains in assets, including fee-based assets, generating more consistent revenue for Stifel. Kruszewski expects 2022 to be another solid recruiting year.
