Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management Sparks Growth With Internal Hires

March 7th, 2023, 3:26 PM

Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management, an affiliate of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, is boosting its growth by recruiting Wells advisors.

Seventy2 has acquired one-third of its new hires from Wells Fargo since it launched in December 2016. Seventy2 pitches internal transfers from FiNet with incentives, such as access to Seventy2's compliance, human resources, and marketing services and access to a Chartered Financial Analyst for investment research.

Advisors leaving FiNet to join Seventy2 give up a portion of their net pay to Seventy2, which averages 85 percent to 90 percent before expenses, and are ineligible for hiring bonuses offered to those coming from external firms.

Seventy2 also entices Wells' private client advisors by offering them higher payouts and ownership of their practice and client book, even if they leave. Recruiters told AdvisorHub that transfers like this are not unusual across channels. However, they stand out in light of Wells' increasing promotion of FiNet over the past year.

Financial Advisor Transitions consults advisors nationwide to explore employment transition options and to preserve and protect their practice in any transition that they make.
