Last year, Rockefeller Capital Management announced an aggressive hiring campaign to more than double its headcount in the next few years.
Currently, Rockefeller's private wealth unit has around 85 teams. Executives at the company are aiming for close to 200 by 2025. Rockefeller also has opened private wealth offices in 38 cities across the United States since CEO Greg Fleming took over in 2018.
According to Fleming, the company is nearly halfway through expanding its footprint across wealth centers in the United States. Rockefeller has crossed off some of the markets Fleming targeted last year, such as Seattle, Boston, and locations in the Midwest. The company still aims to add teams from Nashville and Charlotte, North Carolina.
