Morgan Stanley has unveiled an advisor support program that executives say "doubles as an incubator for advisor trainees and client associates." "Virtual Engagement Associates" offers online marketing and marketing support for Morgan Stanley advisors, who pay a subscription fee for access to the platform.
Client associates also will assist with tasks, including client boarding, social media posts, and setting up new technology while pursuing securities industry licenses. The program lasts around 18 months, and associates have the option of remaining in the program, moving to other supporting roles, or joining Morgan Stanley's 40-month financial advisor associate training program.
