LPL Financial has announced its acquisition of Atria Wealth Solutions, marking a significant move in the financial services landscape. Atria, boasting approximately 2,400 advisors and affiliations with around 150 banks and credit unions overseeing $100 billion in brokerage and advisory assets, presents a substantial addition to LPL's network.
As reported by ThinkAdvisor, LPL anticipates that the transaction will close in the latter half of 2024. The conversion of advisors and firms is projected to conclude by mid-2025, subject to regulatory clearance and other stipulations.
Under the acquisition, Atria's network of broker-dealers, including CUSO Financial Services and Sorrento Pacific Financial, serving banks and credit unions, along with Cadaret Grant, NEXT Financial Group, SCF Securities, Western International Securities, and Grove Point Financial, supporting independent financial professionals, will transition their brokerage and advisory assets to LPL's platform.
