Edward Jones Achieves Advisor head Count Growth and Corporate Milestones

In its recent SEC filing, Edward Jones & Co. reported significant progress towards its corporate goals, according to an article in AdvisorHub.

The brokerage achieved a 2 percent increase in advisor headcount, reaching 19,232 advisors by the end of 2023, surpassing its goal of hiring or training more than 1,500 brokers. The company aims for a 3 percent headcount growth in 2024. The filing highlighted technological advancements, introducing the MoneyGuide financial planning software, allowing advisors to make unilateral changes to investments, and expanding roles for advisors' assistants.

Despite a downtick in net new assets, Edward Jones' assets under management rose 17 percent to $1.9 trillion. Revenue increased by 12% to $414 billion, with net income reaching $1.6 billion, a 15 percent increase.
