The Certified Financial Planning ("CFP") Board has announced the promotion of two of its staff members in a recent press release.

Erin Koeppel, who joined the CFP Board in 2018 and previously held the position of Deputy General Counsel for Adjudication, has been promoted to Managing Director of Government Relations and Public Policy. Simultaneously, Jason Gudenius, who held the role of Board's Director of Marketing at the CFP Board for six years, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Workforce, overseeing talent pipeline initiatives and student engagement efforts.

Maureen Thompson, the former Vice President of Public Policy, will continue as a consultant until Koeppel completes the transition into her new role. This transition follows the board's identification of a candidate to lead adjudication.
