LPL's employee channel, Linsco, launched three years ago, has grown into its own in 2022, and has successfully attracted roughly 25 teams, according to a recent story in AdvisorHub. 

LPL is pitching Linsco as  a differentiated solution that checks all the boxes of someone looking for an employee type of model that does it with the attributes of the independent model. 

So far, Linsco has drawn recruits from competitors like Wells Fargo Advisors, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and UBS Wealth Management USA, as well, as Stifel, Nicolaus & Co, B. Riley Wealth Management and Oppenheimer, according to announcements from LPL.

LPL claims that Linsco now has credibility with potential recruits. LPL believes that it now can compete for most of the employee-based model assets.
