$1.5 Billion UBS Team Departs for Rockefeller as UBS Advisor Exodus Continues

July 3rd, 2025, 3:30 PM

The steady stream of advisor departures from UBS Wealth Management USA shows no sign of slowing. As reported by AdvisorHub, an eight-person team managing $1.5 billion in client assets left the firm for Rockefeller Capital Management.

The group, operating as Suskind Ripple Halliwell Wealth Partners, joined Rockefeller's Fort Lauderdale office on Friday. Advisors Leonard J. Suskind, Seth N. Ripple, Karleen M. Halliwell, and Laura Raybin-Miller reportedly produced $9 million in annual revenue while at UBS. They brought along four support staff and now report to Rockefeller Southeast Division Director Kristen Sario.

This latest defection follows a series of high-profile exits from UBS in recent weeks. AdvisorHub reports that just a day earlier, another $1.1 billion team left for RBC Wealth Management. A $1.9 billion group moved to Elevation Point last week, and an $800 million team returned to Morgan Stanley earlier this month.

The timing is noteworthy. The move occurred on the eve of UBS implementing another compensation cut to mutual fund trail commissions. According to AdvisorHub, this is a reduction that the firm had postponed until July 1 following advisor pushback. UBS leadership, however, has remained committed to its aggressive cost-cutting strategy, with Chief Financial Officer Todd Tuckner stating earlier this year that the plan carried "broad support" among its advisor base.
