LPL Continues to Sign Deals to Provide Services to Banks and Credit Unions

According to InvestmentNews, since 2020, LPL has signed three significant agreements with banks and a credit union. In sum, the three retail banks and credit unions represent more than 800 advisors and brokers and at least $70 billion in client assets. 

LPL also continues to add financial advisors to its ranks. At the end of September, LPL reported a headcount of 19,627. That is an increase of 513, or 3 percent, when compared to the prior quarter. According to LPL, 280 advisors from Waddell & Reed also have joined the firm.
